why life coaching?
Many people spend decades pursuing education and mastery of their work and jobs. We put in time and effort to "get ahead." But, we spend little time on what to do to grow -- as human beings -- and then find ourselves feeling stuck in old behaviors and ways of thinking.
Life coaching helps you understand yourself better with the goal of moving forward in achieving the life you want. And that understanding includes all of you: your passions, talents and strengths as well as your dreams, hopes, fears and limiting beliefs. This renewed understanding helps you move into the future with commitment and focus, with appreciation for your whole self. Personal transformation occurs.
what happens in a life coaching process?
First, I need to get to know you. We'll schedule a brief, complimentary call or meeting.
If we decide to engage in coaching, we'll go in-depth in a second, lengthy intake conversation to help bring all aspects of you into the light.
I'll customize a process and plan to support you and help you reach your goals.
We'll decide together to ensure the coaching activities and sessions suit your lifestyle and schedule. Clients can expect a variety of practices, reflections, readings and exercises. We can meet "virtually" - on videoconference, phone or in personal, as appropriate. Clients typically work with me over 6-9 months to see lasting results, but many report profound shifts after our first call.
My goal is to meet you where you are -- with a tailored approach to you, your timeframe and desired outcomes.
How can i know if life coaching is right for me?
Do you find yourself feeling stuck in some aspect of your life? It could be related to work/career, relationships or personal productivity. Are you curious about yourself? Are you willing to engage in conversation about that? Do you recognize that change takes commitment and intention over some period of time? (If there was a magic pill, I'd certainly offer that, but I can't!)
If you sense you're ready for a change and want to move forward to achieve your goals, I invite you to explore life coaching.
